Children wave American flags at the 16th annual CNY Veterans Parade and Expo at the New York State Fairgrounds on Saturday November 4.
The goal of the celebration is to create an event at which veterans can be thanked for their service, giving the public an opportunity to interact with veterans and service members and learn first-hand about their experiences.
The hour-long parade featured more than 90 veteran and military organizations from throughout Central New York. Local high school marching bands joined in the procession.
