At least six of the candidates designated by the Onondaga County Democratic Party Thursday night will face primary challengers this summer.

Primaries are shaping up in four Syracuse Common Council races, the race for city auditor and the race for the Onondaga County Legislature’s 15th District.

Candidates who did not get the party’s designation confirmed to Central Current their plans to run.
