Politicians of all stripes joined together Tuesday at Our Lady of Pompei for the 77th annual Election Day Spaghetti Supper, an event where candidates briefly set aside their differences to mingle with voters and rivals alike.
Attendees, among others, included Congressman John Mannion and his opponent, Kailee Buller, as well as State Senator Rachel May and Onondaga County Legislature Chair Nicole Watts. Other officials, such as Syracuse Mayor Sharon Owens and Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick, are not on the ballot this year, but still joined in on the longtime Syracuse Election Day tradition.
Voting stations close at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
