The day after Christmas, ice skaters showed up at the Clinton Square Ice Rink and braved the cold for some winter fun.
Stephen White, of Buffalo, was visiting his family in Syracuse for the holidays when he showed up to the rink Monday.
White said he worked at the rink for three years when it first opened in 2001.
“I skate too much,” he said, adding that skating is a stress reliever for him.
The skating season at Clinton Square began runs through March 1. The rink features a warming room, skate rentals and concessions.
