A family visited Oakwood Cemetery this week for a birthday toast on behalf of a deceased loved one.
In this week’s Photo of the Week, Patrani Chandler, of New Britain, Connecticut, was joined by Loran Alford and Annette Chandler, of Syracuse, to commemorate the birthday of Fabian Chandler, Patrani’s son, by raising a toast with Fabian’s favorite wine Monday.
Fabian died May 2, 2022 at age 42 and is buried next to relatives. Patrani said her son was her best friend. They did everything together and she feels his absence.
“Live every day like it’s your last and tell people you love them,” she said. “I know he’s with my mom, dad and brother now.”
