Central Current on Thursday hosted a Syracuse mayoral forum featuring all four candidates: Deputy Mayor Sharon Owens, Republican candidate Tom Babilon, independent candidate Tim Rudd and independent candidate Alfonso Davis.

They answered questions about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the redevelopment of public housing stock and more.

The four candidates are vying to replace Mayor Ben Walsh, whose final term will expire at the end of the year. Walsh has been the mayor since 2018. Owens spent each of those eight years as Walsh’s deputy mayor.
