Thousands of people came out to Westcott Street on Oct. 1 for the 31st festival celebrating the unique Syracuse neighborhood.
More than 40 business, governmental, organizational and institutional groups donated to make the fair possible.
This year’s version featured a parade, activities for kids, races, eclectic music, dancing, handmade goods and foods from around the world.
“How cool is to have this festival in Syracuse,” said attendee Shannon Fleming, of Syracuse, wearing heart-shaped sunglasses and rainbow pants. “It proves love can overcome.”
