Melissa Salazar of Bella Infinity Farms talks with customers Eric Gofmanas, left, and Julie Cook, both of Weedsport, at the Syracuse Farmers Market in Clinton Square.

Salazar, who sells gourmet mushrooms, necklaces, tins, puzzles and more, said she wears different mushroom outfits each week and loves meeting community members.

The 52nd annual Farmers Market, featuring freshly grown produce, flowers and food vendors, runs on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the summer and early fall and ends on October 8.

Heather Schroeder, the Deputy Director and Director of Economic Development for The Downtown Committee of Syracuse said the Farmers Market is a Double Up Food Bucks location that allows people using SNAP food benefits to double their fruit and vegetable purchases dollar for dollar. People using SNAP benefits can sign up for Double Up Food Bucks at the Downtown Committee stand at the market.
