Patrick Mannion’s support of Central Current is motivated by his deep and abiding belief in the media’s irreplaceable role in educating our community and holding our leaders accountable. He strongly believes that freedom of speech and freedom of conscience must be thoroughly embodied in our local reporting and how we serve the Central New York community.
Mannion’s career has spanned multiple leadership roles in business and community service throughout Central New York. He retired in March 2020 as vice chair of Columbian Financial Group, an insurance and financial services corporation. He is former chair of CenterState CEO and the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority, current chair of the Crouse Health System, and is a founding member of the Onondaga Environmental Institute.
