Rain couldn’t damper Marian Austin-Parnell from singing and dancing at the Jazz in the City Concert on Thursday night.
Austin-Parnell and other attendees listened to the Blacklites in the parking lot of Dunk & Bright.
Jazz in the City happens on Thursdays during the summer. Each concert offers food, arts and crafts vendors, and an extensive “healthcare village” of local health and human services. The final Jazz in the City will happen on August 15 at Thornden Park and will feature Art Sherrod Jr. and Lin Rountree.
