Leaving a career at a legacy newspaper was really challenging for Central Current Editor-in-Chief Julie McMahon but, she said, the world of non-profit journalism gives her hope for the future.

“We do something that’s hard to quantify,” McMahon said in an interview with Oswego County Business Magazine reporter Ken Sturtz, who is also a former reporter at The Post-Standard.

“Our roles in community and democracy are often at odds with the bottom line,” McMahon said.
