Central Current has been selected to be part of the Google News Initiative Fundamentals Lab through the Institute for Nonprofit News.
The program will take place over three months and will provide Central Current with robust training on subjects like engaging new readers and website design.
Central Current will also be eligible to receive up to $20,000 in funding to support the implementation of our audience and revenue growth plans.
This opportunity represents the latest step forward for Central Current in attracting national investments to help strengthen local news here in Central New York.
