Grab your news-loving friends and come down to Harvey’s Garden on Monday, June 16 at 4 p.m. Central Current will be the beneficiary of an open celebration where a portion of all bar sales will go towards supporting our newsroom. Harvey’s Garden is located at 1200 E Water St, Syracuse, NY 13210. It will be a casual event and free to attend.
We love nothing more than meeting our readers and hearing directly from you about the types of coverage you want to see. We want you to get to know our reporters, and connect with other members of the Central Current community who love this region and are invested in its success. Our last celebration drew over 150 people to the Salt City Market, so we are excited for the chance to bring everyone together a second time.
The funds Harvey’s Garden raises through this event will support our spring campaign goal of $15,000 to help sustain and expand our growing newsroom. Thanks to support from a generous local donor, all gifts will be matched and new monthly recurring gifts will be matched at their full annual value — a 12x increase.
Be sure to RSVP today, we look forward to seeing you there.
