Thompson beat incumbent Republican Onondaga County Legislator Colleen Gunnip, and won about 56% of the votes in the race.

Eriksen beat incumbent Republican Onondaga County Legislator Julie Abbott, and won nearly 52% of the votes in the race.

Despite a slight from the Onondaga County Democratic Committee, Nicole Watts won a crowded race for the legislature’s 9th District.

Chad Ryan, a Democrat and former member of Syracuse Common Council, flipped the legislature’s 8th District.

Tim Burtis, the chairperson of the Onondaga County Legislature, is running unopposed to retain his seat.

David Knapp is running unopposed to retain his seat as the Onondaga County Legislature’s 12th District representative.
