A Tiny Home for Good project manager and renovation team leader, Lydia Montgomery, left, looks on as Anyia Locorine and her son, Eddie, 3, enter their single family permanent home after a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, August 26, 2024.
The house was renovated by A Tiny Home for Good next to their office at 1222 South Ave. and was made possible by funding from Onondaga County and the Stoddard Family.
Along with the renovation team, long-time volunteers and subcontractors and local suppliers were involved, including: Dannan Plumbing, John Griffin, Jiffy Seamless Gutters, ECO Testing Services, RollMax, Sunrise Building Supply, Geddes St. City Hardware, and Sherwin Williams.
Because hundreds of local families are facing homelessness, A Tiny Home’s focus this year has been on single and multi-family home renovations.
